As usual, newcomers and non-monster owners are always welcome.  Even if you're just curious about bikes, feel free to stop by and meet the gang.  If you're new and ya post up beforehand, we'll make sure that you can find us.  The winter meets are always fun.  Bundle up and liquor up to stay warm.   [evil]

I would love to join up and meet all of ya, but I've made a commitment to go to the next SFMC meeting. One of my friends is about to give up on me for only going once.  :-[

That might work! Lemme check with a buddy of mine whom I'm going to SFMC with. He had a Shiver and took a turn too hot down in Kings Canyon about a month ago. Broke his leg and his Shiver was considered totalled. I'm driving him to SFMC since he's still on crutches. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

That would be the Holiday Fire Pit of Drunken 151 Fun.   ;D

I second that.  I'd be OK just fast-forwarding to Friday, like two years from now, too.  Apparently I'm starting to look a lot like a toilet to my employers.   I hate it when the economy goes South and I remain one of the "lucky" employed ones..  Grrrrr....  :P

I skipped the 'geist for Mon celebration (Yay, the week is 1/5 over!).  I did a beer at Ace and then a couple at Kilowatt.   Not quite what I was hopin' for, but it was a decent surrogate.

'belle, tell 'em to go make the beast with two backs themselves.  Talent gets hired regardless of the economy.  Unless, of course, you lack that too.   :-*

Sorry I didn't make it out tonight. I was farting around and my knee popped. It's now swollen up like a balloon. My torn ACL from my accident hasn't been repaired yet, so I was dumb and ignored taking it easy, hence the reason I'm just hanging at home watching Seinfeld. Hope to meet all of you soon.

Not to be a thread downer, but I would assume the monster rider heading to this event splitting lanes last night on 24 just some words of caution. When 4 lanes are converging down to 2 lanes its probably not the safest of ideas to split the converging lanes. I watched you almost get tagged but SEVERAL cars but luckily they must have been paying attention. I personally would never expected someone to be splitting there and would have most likely hit you.

Hey Jamie, sorry I didn't get your message until last night.  Do you still need the head wrench? 

Sounds like all of you had fun! I'm bummed my knee went out on me (farting around, not farting, misincredible ;)). I'm meeting with my surgeon on 12.21 to discuss my ACL options. I'm opting for surgery, so I can break dance when I'm 80.

I will do my BEST to meet with all of you next month (assuming this is a monthing thingy). I am going to the International Motorcyclye Show in San Mateo with a few friends. I hope to, at least, meet some of you then. I'm going Saturday, so if you're going then, send me a PM and I'll give you my cell so we can meet up.

ps Being laid out for 10 weeks sucks big time. But getting my M696 (even though I could't ride yet) helped with my recovery.  :)
