I'm lusting after the new-fangled digital gauges on a lot of bikes I've seen. Is it possible to replace the analog gauge cluster on an s2r1k with a digital setup?

You need to pull out the internals of the gauges and hide them under the tank (they've got part of the immobilizer system in there, so you can't ditch 'em). Once they're hidde--hopefully somewhere protected from water--you need to run wires from the gauge internals to your new digital tach. It's not easy DIY stuff.

I want to run a race dash with just a flick switch for the ignition.My 749 met a wall head on and the stock dash unit got smashed.
