I got him the bike in the background. He loved it, but when I pulled this one out of hte box, he went apeshit for it. The old one had no training wheels so it would fall over :( Plus, this model has a magic button to make engine noises.
He LOVES it when he gets to see me on a bike and laughs when I revv the motor..
Crikey!
Look at the size of those chicken strips! ;D
it was only 10 minutes out of the "crate" in those pics, what do you want for nuthin? [laugh]
Thats so cute!!
More importantly, did you get him a thunder stick yet? [thumbsup]
that bike could use a tail chop.

Sure.
I paid $40 for mine (I think they go for close to $50 normally). It comes fully assembled except for the training wheels which are optional. Also, the decals are not on.
The wheels are wide so any taller (>34-36") kid will have no problem standing with it as it's very stable.
It has a button on the dash and with batteries, will make a 'vroom-vroom-beep-beep' sound. The front wheel does turn which surprised me. the other bike i got him is fixed.
My boy is tall for his age (31") and has no problem getting on and off, but that is also going to be dependent on coordination at that age.
It seems VERY well built, very solid. I was very surprised at how well it looks in person.
I highly recommend it for a little one. It says the youngest age is 18 months, but that is due to coordination and size, my boy is almost 15 months.
Where did you find it 'tizzz?

i saw it in a pic and figured out it was made by Chicco. It's called a Ride-on Monster. I forgot which vendor I found it from -- i just searched shopping.yahoo.com for it.

Thanks.
I just ordered one a week ago, and my Baby is not here yet! You can never start to early. I was even thinking of ordering the Next size up one made by Peg Perego (SP?) My wife just shook her head when I showed her! [thumbsup]
Also the best price I found shipped to your door is CSN Baby. I just googled them .

Anyone else thinking it's time for a race? :P

Hell, I've already scoped out a 50cc bike that I can customize to look like a monster or an SBK for when he is old enough to ride.
Mommy says NFW (No Fu&&ing Way) but he already squeals like a happy piglet when he sees me on the bike and loves sitting on them.
He'll want one someday. Have to find 6 year old size leathers next (that's the youngest I would go)
Cycleworld had a clearance sale on kids motox wear. I bought my 5 year old at the time some $115 JT pants for $25. He doesnt have a bike yet, but he will. Thinking about one of the CDC pocket bikes. Of course, Ill have to hold on to it until he's old enough to handle the speed.
I held off on the motorcycle purchase for my eldest son until he could ride bicycles on two wheels. Then we bought a lil' Honda for him...
Best of all, it's now an excuse for me to get a dirt bike of my own. I can tell my wife that I'll "keep an eye on him" while he's riding. ;D ;)
