for people who want to come help pull the boat lift again this year.
New deck will make it less muddy but higher to lift out.
;D
When did you want to do it?

hello? tap....tap....tap....is this thing on????
currently thinking a week from Sunday (so..the 30th). That interferes with some folks lengthy thanksgiving plans, but it's getting colder fast.
Hrm... I'm probably tapped to help Cookie move heavy objects that day if my folks have skedaddled.
Looks like G's enchiladas and the bar will be ready at noon. I can't stomach squeezing into the wetsuit earlier.
I'll make sure to take pictures, Ian (of the yummy food and drink...not of the wetsuit squeezing).

we are hoping to apply the 9 year old as a waitress to serve us and to keep the dog away from me (due to allergies!)
Since she wants to be a dog walker and professional photographer when she grows up, I'll have her bring her camera and keep the dog occupied!!!

Try taking just one Benedryl before you head up. It will help without knocking you out.

because some of us have already learned how it works out if you take more than just one Bendryl!!! :P
G has shopped for the yummy goodness that is a giant tray of enchiladas. One tray of vegetarian being made too. There's ice on the canal so I'm figuring out how to cut lines without getting wet. We'll see.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone and I'll see you Sunday.
By the way, there is no rain/snow date. It's getting hauled that day no matter. We can dry clothes so people don't hang out all wet and make hot toddies...well just because they're yummy.

We're running a little late, but we're still coming! Sloooooow start this rainy morning. Even the dogs are protesting having to move.

no problem on coming up to help and thank you for the hospitality following! G's enchiladas RAWKED!!!...I look forward to taking you up on a ride on da boat this coming year!
Food was awesome, and company was even better. Sorry we got there so late, but traffic decided we would spend our time in the car. We ended up not getting home until 1800. One of the tie ups was because some idiot rear ended a cop who had already pulled a car over. Cop car was in the median with lights still on. [bang]
We stayed off the main roads as much as possible on the way home....easier than dealing with the turkey-laden cars.
Well this year I made it up there twice, but never out on the boat. Maybe next spring, I'll actually get on the boat! [thumbsup]
Aeryn got up the next morning and started crying because she 'want to play with my friend..where's my friend?" :'( ;D

awwwwww....well, now we definitely have to come sailing next spring.....she wiped out Sophia - she passed out in the car on the way home....I definitely think she had a good time although she would have like to ride cleo.
Sorry we had to miss this. We were out of the country, otherwise we would have been there.
