Yes the whole area, most recently I set-up a trip on 10/31, the video is US 60 between Buena Vista and Forks of Buffalo, I prefer to run it east to west, get gas then run it back east and pickup Buffalo Springs Turnpike to Rt. 130 then take that West to Rt. 501. I usually stay in Lexington at Hi Express or Natural Bridge Hotel. Lots of other roads to get there and around there. - Gene

When I was out at VT I used to drive a lot of those roads for work.  Always in my truck, I didn't have a bike out there with me.   Spent a lot of time wishing I was riding.  Drove out to Bath Co. 2 weeks ago (truck) and almost cried for the bike.  Mountains are so much better than Virginia Beach flattness.

truck = bed/cargo capacity = bike in the back to pull out and ride!

I was in Bath County last weekend!  Opening day of deer season!!  65 degrees and sunny, and windy and rainy with a little horizontal hail mixed in.  I hate early opening days.  They are the third Saturday in November, this year the third Sat was last weekend.  Monday was 27 degrees and perfect.

That is why I was there.  Got 2 during early muzzleloader season.  Hence the truck, it is difficult to get a deer on a bike.

My old roommate and his family live between Hot Springs and Warm Springs.  They own some land and have access to other private land that we used to work on.  We usually stick with that.  Used to do some hunting on Gvmt land in Dunn's Gap a while back.

Not far at all.  My camp is about 2 miles before the A&D Country Store on 42.  About 5 miles before the huge white house with the airstrip.  I keep meaning to ride down for trout weekend.
