After playing a lot of Call of Duty I had this idea but found out it already exists.

apparently it was also in the movie predator

As a certified gun nut, I'm kinda ashamed to admit this....
As many times as I've seen Predator (at least 15 times), I've never noticed that his M16 had a shotgun mounted underneath it.
WANT!!
Only one frame means only one gun to register. :D
I think this is the definition of overkill.

What is this registration thing you speak of?

over what? the HELL ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO DO WHEN THERES A LOCKED DOOR IN FRONT OF YOU?
shoot it with your shotgun of course!
It's all about versatility. How many times have you been using your M16 and regretted the time it took you to unsling your combat shotgun? We've all been there.
I just thought of it strictly from a Call of Duty 4 point of view. Think of how many times you have the rifle out, someone jumps a corner...It would be so easy to pull R1 instead of a grenade and blast them with the shotgun.
+1 to breaching a door in real life.
So now I wonder if you use a sawed off shotgun under it less than 18'' barrel does that qualify as illegal since the entire gunc would count into the length? Either way, AWESOME. [bow_down]

Illegal. The min barrel length is a separate requirement from the min overall length requirement.
Waste of time
and
ungainly
first, use the right equipment

Second, use the right ammunition

I'd still prefer the good old M41A:

One of my favorites as well!
When will someone make a working replica of the pulse rifle? Hell, I'd be happy if it shot BBs, as long as it makes the "braaaat-braaaat" sound and has a working ammo counter.
here is my problem with the M41A
notice on the picture above
there is an ejection port above the magazine
but in the movie they say it fires a...
"Explosive-tipped standard caseless light armour piercing round"
so...what does it eject?

Maybe it can shoot different types of ammunition?

Bullets... really fast... from the hole in the front...
You not getting it explains your performance on the range... [laugh]
