cheesy but titanium... if you're worried about snapping your key off this could be a could mitigation plan.
Except that it won't work in anything newer than 2001...
Yeah but they are "rare"!
Rare 'cause they made a small batch, no one bought any and now they have that small batch to try to unload and they know they won't have anymore made since it flopped.
Marketing-speak...I hate it.
They're hoping this is true: "There's a sucker born every minute."
then call me a sucker, baby!
it's totally about weight savings... hello.....

well yea i guess that makes sense u need keys to start the bike.. unless you steal it .
[laugh]
It might be something neat to attach to your car's keys to use as a keychain.

Those look like keys the ambiguously gay duo would use.

Oooh, oooh, oooh titanium! Yeah, um, I'll pass. When it gets down to the weight of the key holding me back I'll know I'm ready to take over Casey Stoner's seat on the GP team. Since that'll never happen I think I'll put the money toward something I can really use. Does anyone make toilet paper embossed with the logos of competing mc brands?
pricey for a key blank? yes.
largely pointless? yes.
would i use it if someone gifted it to me? yes.
i wouldn't buy it, but i don't hate it. *shrugs*
I agree. I'd be semi-happy with it as a gift, stocking-stuffer, whatever.
Do I want to spend my money on it? Certainly not.
Looks like rubbish to me.
what does it take to cut that blank?
Works only on Non chipped bikes.... funny. I know the new superbikes do not use the red key... but they are still chipped keys.
i dont think a titanium key would be a very good idea, keys are made from softer material so they are easier to cut, and also so they wear less on the tumblers inside the ignition, thats why after a while, your key looses its sharpness.
Nah...i'll pass.... :P
I'm currently making a faux NOS system for my bike - the ultimate useless mod ;D

Those have to be some of the ugliest keys I have ever seen [laugh] . Who would buy that... seriously.
Reminds me of the Ducati thumb drive

Reminds me of the Ducati thumb drive
which might have been cool if it didn't cost 10x as much as the same drive without the ducati logo on it.

(I knew this smiley would come in handy)

My question is; If you bought it to use, and took it to a locksmith, what locksmith has a machine that can cut TITANIUM????? Looks like a slightly ugly key fob to me, but not much more.

While the properties of titanium pose some difficulties when machining, in this case a key cutting machine will do the job.
