Hi!
Just wanna share a little bit of my joy. Seems like Santa came by with an early x-mas gift last week :D. I've been looking at the S4R for awhile and since it won't be available in 2009 I sold the M900 and got this one. Too bad it's November and atleast 4 months until it's rideable weather over here in Sweden.... >:(.
But hey, half of the joy with a Monster is all the mods that need and can be done, so I guess I can find something to do during the long cold winter.... So far I've got open clutch cover, cluth plate/springs, frame sliders, turn signals, CF rear mud guard, wheel stripes, 14T front sprocket and lightened flywheel lying around just waiting to go on the bike. Exhaust and air filter will be added come spring time when the bike has been broken in.
Adding a picture below, hope it works.....

Nice 4valver.... let the mods begin. That is the best way to consume those long winter monthes. [evil]
incredible how much nicer these look then the new ones, the new ones look like toys, these look like MONSTERS, congrats what a beauty
Thanks guys.
And I forgot, ofcourse something has to be done to the tail. Licence plate holder is gonna be replaced. Haven't decided about tail chop yet...... ???.
Having a cold [drink] right now..... :)

Hey there neighbor. I`m from Riga, Latvia and it's also long time till I can start riding with pleasure again. When I first got my 696, I wasn't too keen on these S4Rs, but now when I see one it seems really fantastic, nice bike [thumbsup]

Congrats man!!!! You just need a beautiful Swedish girl on the back and you are set!!!!! :)
Excellent choice Pete. I know the pain of 4 months until the weather gets decent enough to ride comfortably.
Enjoy your Holidays and happy modding. Dolph
Haven't been on the board for awhile. Nice to sign in and see all your nice comments, thanks guys.
Haven't been starting the modding yet. The bike is currently at my parents place but I'm gonna get access to a garage soon and then the work can begin :D.
......3,5 months and counting......until...... [moto].
Statler, thanks for the E-mail, gave me a lot of ideas. Unfortunately it will also create a larger hole in the wallet :P.
See ya!

I agree with all the above except for the Swedish girl bit. You''re in Sweden. You got all the Swedish girls you want. I, however, have never had a Swedish Girl. [bang] [bang]
Enjoy the bike and ride safely.
