I found "Xenon" headlight bulbs advertised expressly for Ducati Monsters on Ebay (item #320317903189) with the promise of much brighter roadway illumination. The fact that they are sold in pairs makes me think that they are meant for cars. Has anybody tried these? Do they stand up to the much tougher conditions on a motorcycle, especially the vibration?
TIA!

It would be nice to know if these or any of the eBay ones are much brighter ...

PIAA Xtreme White Plus is my favorite. You can get them in single bulbs too.
I've been using Xeanon 80-100 W bulb for the past few months without a problem, yes brighter and came in a 2 pack; I'm thinking there's about as much vibration in a roadbike as in a car headlight ....

How is the hi-beam cutoff, is it blinding oncoming traffic?

no! Mr Ugly Green Monster ;D, my headlight is adjusted so it won't blind on coming traffic and I find the brighter bulb helpful for cars to be able to SEE a motorcycle, which seems to be a problem for a few drivers. To answer your "pointed question".
