Don't hold your breath, the Jets might just be setting you up for the biggest disappointment yet by doing phenomenal and then choking big time.

I dont think it would be a huge disapointment. Its Farves first year with the Jets. No one is saying he isnt going to make it and no one is saying that he is going ot make. We all want him to though. he deserves every bit of it, sad to see that it didn't happen with the Packers (though good for me!)

With that said, do i smell a NY Superbowl? I'd fly out to Tampa Bay for this one!

He won a SB with the Pack...quite a while ago though.

Here's Jobu's NFL rundown:

The NFC:  I definitely don't see any one beating the Giants at this point.  However, if Dallas gets their shit together with everyone healthy, then they have the best chance.  I'd like to think my Panthers have a chance, but I just don't think Delhomme is good enough and the same goes for Washington; their offense just isn't good enough.  We'll get a preview soon though of Panthers-Giants.  The other teams from the South are good as well, but they aren't solid enough all around to beat NY.  Arizona can play as they proved again this weekend against the Giants, but, damnit, they are still the Cardinals.

The AFC is more open.  The Jets could be a contender, but then Farve will throw three picks and the defense will be, well, defenseless.  Tennessee is obviously good.  I've been impressed with what they have done, but I'm not impressed with there team really.  Collins is still Kerry Collins and the Jets proved they are very beatable.  Then there is Pittsburgh.  Their offense is improving and if they get Parker healthy, look for it to get even better with two or three big runs from him a game.  And there defense is probably the best in the league as far as solid, every down commitment goes.

Don't discount New England or Indy yet, though.  With Peyton at the helm and everyone healthy, the Colts could be a serious contender and playing their best just in time for the playoffs.  New England's game against Pittsburgh should be very telling.  New England's defense seems a little too weak for a serious playoff run.  However, Cassel is suddenly filling Brady's shoes perfectly.  But will those shoes fall of against that adamant Steeler D?

So, Jobu's prediction for Super Bowl XLIII:  Giants vs. Steelers  Spread:  Giants -3  Over/Under:  38
