Title: cored and shortened pipes finally Post by: djomlas on November 23, 2008, 02:43:41 PM yup, finally did it.
decided to take the easy way and once i slid the sleeve down, i cut trough the whole thing where the welds were. after that i decided where to cut, cut with a table saw (took a minute each, perfect cut :) then i slid the sleeve some more and cut the inside a little as well to accommodate the tip, then put a rivet on the front and one in the back, and thats all folks. also, i painted the headlight bracket after finally being able to get the bolts off let me know what you guys think... still in the process of getting a good oven to do all the powdercoating so all kinda bits and pieces will get powdercoated. heresa a before pic from a while ago to show the length (http://i33.tinypic.com/wcb81i.jpg) and the after (http://i33.tinypic.com/123up8y.jpg) Title: Re: cored and shortened pipes finally Post by: ProTeal55 on November 23, 2008, 04:40:35 PM Looks SO much better !
