Title: DP air filter for S2R -- worth the $$ ?? Post by: Blake on December 08, 2008, 09:11:23 PM Stopped by the local dealer today for an oil filter and inquired about the DP hi-perf air filter. He showed me what looked to be a K&N type mesh filter w/ modified ducting attached to it. I thought it looked like a nice piece of equipment and asked how much. :o :o $140.00 !!!!! Yikes. Sounds like a lot. Question is, do you guys who have it notice any power and/or mpg gains w/ it. LMK, Christmas is coming and I want something more than just some winter riding gloves to keep my paws warm whilst riding in the fog and cold.

I doubt you'd get a lot out of it, other than being able to clean it occasionally instead of replacing it.
