Been a long time since the factory team had a DNF due to mechanical fault. "In Race 2 Bayliss’ 1098 F08 suffered a technical fault, an engine problem that resulted in oil leaking, and which unfortunately subsequently led to his retirement from the race." The duc just did not have the flat out speed like it always has compared to the 4's. But made up for it in the tight sections.
