So with the help of Animoto, I put together a little slideshow video...
Lemme know what you think...

My slideshow is dedicated to the men and women who shiver alone in the dark in a foreign land afraid that they may not make it back to see their new born child. They selflessly put themselves in harm's way every day so that we can enjoy things like web videos and Big Macs and even so we can talk bad about them from time to time. They walk the lines each and every day and don't count the cost or sacrfices that they make in their lives. They do it because they love their country. They do it because they love each and every one of us and love the fact that we can be anything we want to be.
Their's is a story that is seldom told without bias or without some political agenda behind it. They are the men and women of our nation's armed forces. And they are in my heart and prayers every day when I lay my head on my pillow in comfort and security. And they are first on my mind when I wake in the morning. I thank them for everything they do and do everything I can for them in return.
Please think of them as they are always thinking of us.
Not even a boy that is absolute crap?
:-\
cant see it from work :-[
I really like the shot of the solider silhouette with the flag in the back.
I'd slow it down a bit.
yup.... a lil slower, but waaaaay cool [thumbsup]
From the outside, Europe, I can tell you that most of the time I'm very grateful that the "triggerhappy, ignorant and self righteous" Americans are what they are. Yes, your government sometimes act as if you/they have it all figured out - when we have seen more than once that things aren't always as black and white as they would seem to be.
The U.S.A get a lot of angry hostility for acting the way they/you do, BUT when I have the chance I speak up for you guys, telling the soft and well educated know-it-alls that they should be deeply grateful that the U.S.A will step up to show the craziest nations that they won't get away with the shit they try.
If it wasn't for you guys the world would be much, much more unsafe for all of us. I'm not saying you get it right all the time, but you are willing to sacrifice for what you believe in. The fact that you pay for it also with blood makes the effort even more admirable, IMO.
The video is a nice way of showing that you mean well and that the soldiers are real people, not war robots.
