I've actually got my own construction business now, however, I'm shutting it down first of the year. Times have been really slow and I've gotten so far behind financially that I can't catch up. Also, with dad now out of the business, I have to "technically" close down and restart regardless due to our partnership agreement.
I'm just gonna go work whatever job I can scrounge up for the next 3-6 months to pay the bills and come back with a better game plan the next time around. I went into it this time w/ no plan at all, basically woke up one day and said "let's do it". Went from idea to "in business" in less than 4 weeks. [laugh] [laugh] make the beast with two backsing idiot. [roll]
Needless to say, I've been kicking myself in the ass for most of the last 4 years. I'm also gonna branch out into remodeling and handyman type stuff more than I have in the past. I've mostly worked as a sub doing new construction stuff but that market has all but disappeared here.
Do at least one track day.

I'm having problems w, my left shoulder. It is in the joint I'm pretty sure.
I haven't gone to an Orthopaedic Surgeon yet but I noticed it after my last week of heavy riding here in Ohio in the middle of November.
I always wash and dry my bike after each ride and since I had been riding my " R " for the most part this Fall I had the Fairing to reach down and wash under and then reach under and dry it and often wax the bike all with my left hand.
My left shoulder constantly feels like I have a tooth ache in it .
There are certain ways that if I reach for something my shoulder will get a sharper pain that lasts for about 20 seconds.
I don't know your shoulder history . I take Celebrex and Tramadol and Fish Oil capsules daily already for Osteo Arthritis of my knees and none of that pain medicine helps alleviate my shoulder pain.
Could be a Rotator Cuff tear , Bursitis, or Arthritis .
I hope your 3rd is the charm. Dolph :)

I have 2 pairs of Scarpa alpine boots, all leather, Vibram sole, size 48 Euro. Had 'em since 2001 (bought an identical spare set 1/2 price a year later).
They are a little bit hot in summer, but the all leather protects the foot extremely well. They're all season and can take crampons.
They best boots I ever had period. I'm loathe to break in the 2nd pair, the 1st pair is still going strong despite being beat to all to hell. ;D
Got some other cheapo Columbia cloth tops, but they're for just kicking around.

Well John, you picked one of if not the best of the Italian Boot makers.
I also wear size 48 in Scarpa since that's their largest men's size other than I have a pair of 49 1/2 SL M3s which are the full ,smooth , Sherpa leather Backpackers that are just a bear to break in and they are very heavy being a US size 14.
Otherwise 48 is as large as they make.
I also have a pair of Triolet GTX, Charmox GTX, and Freney GTXs. Dolph
