Title: Covini C6W
Post by: DY on December 13, 2008, 10:31:09 AM
Based on the design of the Tyrrell P34 F1 racecar.

Video of the car does absolutely nothing for me. The driver is just gasing it for the straights and then coasting all the curves.  ??? Video doesn't show any potential at all.

I dont see the benefit of 2 front axles.

You would if you sold tires or brake and suspension parts.

and rims!

is that suppose to be impressive or something? It would be one thing if all 6 wheels were drive wheels, but its just a RWD car with 2 extra front wheels, id expect this thing to have an assload more grip up front, but isnt losing grip @ teh rear more frequent?

Thats it, i'm sick of being taken advantage of.  I'm inventing a Uni-motorcycle.

Ah, crap.  It's already been invented.  And it looks kinda like the Pugo-Pod.

I was telling my finacée the same thing.  I wanted to see the drive pushing the car, showing that the extra wheels up front were doing something ~

Not to mention the added traction/braking etc they are boasting about is all dependant on the REAR ends' ability to maintain traction/control during the front ends' higher traction/braking moments. It worked for the Tyrell cuz it had huge-ass rear tires and a big ole wing on it!! Not to mention the front tires were smaller and prob added up to the same or only slighly higher amounts of grip than 2 normal tires...

That is awesome.  [thumbsup]

anybody else see the LAguna Seca vintage F1 race this last weekend that had the Tyrell in it?
won by  a pretty wide margin...

this car on the other hand just looks weird.
I'd rather have this Zenovo St1 with 1104 horsepower  [evil]

No, missed the race.  :(

The first time I saw the Covini I thought it was a photochop Saleen S7.    [puke] [puke]
