Title: Where to buy stainless clutch springs? Post by: sportskid1 on December 13, 2008, 03:32:42 PM So I live by the ocean and the open clutch cover with stock springs and salty air just aren't working out so well. The springs are starting to rust. Where can I find stainless springs that aren't going to cost me $30. I really don't think 6 springs should cost that much. Thanks in advance.

Title: Re: Where to buy stainless clutch springs? Post by: MotoCreations on December 13, 2008, 09:31:33 PM What you are looking for are called "Flat Edge Compression Springs" (or sometimes referred to as "closed and ground end" instead of "flat edge")
You need to do a couple of measurements -- I'm not going to make it that easy for you. Last time I ordered, they were @$1/ea in low volume quantity in stainless. Title: Re: Where to buy stainless clutch springs? Post by: mmakay on December 14, 2008, 08:39:22 AM Lee Spring requires you order a minimum of 10 to avoid ridiculous handling charges. At about $5 each, that won't save you much! [laugh]
