Title: Ducati made cameras?
Post by: Benjamin5150 on December 16, 2008, 10:27:48 AM
I knew about the radio components, etc. leading up to and during WWII but didn't know about the cameras.  Interesting...

And outboard motors, and little Cushman style trucks, and capacitors (Ducati Energia still does), and their own bike electrics, and .....

No different than any other item deemed collectible. Ever seen what some vintage watches sell for? Or guitars? Or furniture?

By the way, I just found this searching for Duc parts:

Huh?

Just riffing off of this idea (http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2008/12/ducati-rebrands-dilutes-identi.html)

Paraphrasing Mark Twain, dissecting a joke, like dissecting a frog, requires that you first kill it :)

It's funny that the bidding is so high

I bought a Sogno off ebay about 5 years ago for $200.  Near mint condition.

I guess Ducati is more famous now....

You see the Sogno cameras at swapmeets in Italy a lot.. Usually going for around 100-300 Euro depending on condition.

I bet you'll see a few more on fleabay now...
