What kinda Duc is that?
On a side note, I don;t think I would be drag racing on a wet track, let alone being on a bike and doing it!
i dont think thats a wet track, they usually have a werid reflection from all that rubber.... and i know some tracks spray a chemical to make it extra sticky.

Look about 3/4 of the way down the track, there's an area that when both vehicles pass, it sprays up...

was thinking the same thing.
An 11.3? Damn thats a terrible launch lol.
The car, amazingly, left softer than the bike (was that possible?)

That Lambo is AWD isn't it? If I owned it and were launching, I'd probably launch it a little soft as well. Clutches for those things have got to be expensive. [evil]

Lambos are expensive. If you can't afford to drop a new clutch in a 200k+ car, you probably shouldn't be dragging it.

Scary with all that water. :o
Turns out it is possible to make a boring video featuring both a Lamborghini and a Ducati. Who'da thought?
1) really just....not that fast.
and
2) who decided to take two impeccably cornering machines and decide to race them on a dragstrip?

It's funny you say that. I have two customers that are best friends with each other. One of em has an 07 911 Turbo with about 700 horsepower, the other guy has an 03 Turbo with about 650. They are at the dragstrip several times a month. Recently they just added a corvette and a viper to their stable for road courses. They don't like driving the Porsches on a road coarse. I think they got it backwards but what do I know. Oh and they do around 12.5s to 12.7s.

I could see that if it were older 911's with the snap oversteer problem, but the new ones should be fairly well sorted and less prone to mishandling.

What gets me is they have all that power and technology...
and they're turning times like an early 60s Ford V8...
that had nowhere near 700hp.
Yeah tell me about it. Those cars aren't made for the drag strip but you would think they could be faster. When driving the cars they push you back into the seat harder than anything I have been in though.
700hp would do that I guess. ;D
Yeah, I've been told that may have something to do with it.
