Buddy o mine has an 03 800 and REALLY wants adjustable levers. He doesn't want to spend a fortune so any ideas, recommendations etc.
I think the least expensive option is Brembo adjustables.
There used to be some knock offs around, but they were cheap as well as low priced.
YMMV

I can make him a deal on an adjustable brake lever. When I bought my 888 Superbike four years ago, the original owner had substituted a Nissen master cylinder for the original Brembo unit. Supposedly it offered better feel and had a fully adjustable lever. Since I wanted the bike to be 100% stock, I put the original back on. Other than the lever being bare silver aluminum rather than painted black, it looks just like the original lever and fits the same way. The black adjuster knob gives better adjustability than I've seen on any other brake lever. It's available for $50 plus shipping costs. Here's a photo:

remember to look for the large pivot levers, as the small pivots won't fit the coffins on your buddy's bike
I have a set lying around that I never installed... if I can find them, they'd be up FS [thumbsup]
