Well I had to work Christmas day so up at six , clear still day no one on the road so I decided to ride.
Within the the ten minutes it takes to get to work I had three scares.
1. Cruizen through the bends come around the corner and a kombi is on my side of the road overtaking a pushbike
nearly shit my self blow the horn and rode on
2. Round the first big bend  not even fast cold tyres dew on the road start to slide , into the  gravel rubbish at the edge of the road and closer and closer to the armco , cold sweat get through it .
3. Coming down the hill into Avalon lights go green still riding at the speed limit some F wit in a Jeep pulls out of the Shell servo does not look and straight into a U turn in front of me I go into a full emergency braking stopping beside him as he rounds the turn looking at me like oh fu#k Im not the only one on the road how funny is that and drives off without a sorry just a stupid stunned look on his face.
Could of ruined my day and my kids.
This was the slowest I have ever ridden to work , bit of a wake up call.

Absolute lack of application and "just plain dont give a shit" from the drivers. !! :o

When a car is at a side road looking right at you and they pull out on you at the last possible moment and choose your lane out of the empty 3 available and almost come to a stop.  [roll]

And excessive speed was not involved, gross stupidity and just maybe intent from the smartarse grin on the drivers face as I went past. !! Justifiable homicide?? You betcha!!  [evil]

it's the lack of sorry that gets me....I remember the last time I stuffed up (on the pushy no less) I jumped off and apologised soon as I could!

anyway...let's all enjoy the holidays!!!
