Well not exactly today but on the 31st. Sucks because I love my job and won't have my degree until next December. I've been looking for jobs and can't find squat. [bang]
I do feel alright since I've known this was coming and I get a severence and a retention bonus (not many here did). So I should have about 3 months worth of pay the day I leave. This coupled with unenjoyment should help but I would love to find a job to start right after this so I can buy a new exhaust system.
Anyways, I'm not much on reaching out to people for sympathy but I thought you guys might want to know and if you have any tips please let me know.

Sorry to hear....
What did/you do, and location?
Sorry to hear, that's got to be a bad feeling. There will be something come around. Now, while you're still working is the time to look [thumbsup]
Our Pizza Hut here in town is hiring... Probably not what you're looking for though ~

Thanks guys.
I'm in Columbus OH.
I work as a Jr. Staff Accountant for a property management firm. I am getting degrees in Accounting and Financial Management (corporate finance). I do like the accounting work better but am looking for either. I could go back to wrenching but would have to be very very desperate.
I really want a sales/use position at a larger company.
Sorry to hear. Join the club. Best wishes for finding a good job sooner than later. Land a job soon and you'll have your severance package as "extra" money for that exhaust.
sorry to hear that
mitt
and more bad news in about 3 hours when "the" [roll] ohio state university loses to Texas.

Sorry about that, man. On the "plus" side (for you), your Buckeyes just totally outplayed my 'Horns in the 1st half.
