that makes me want to throw up
[puke]
Wow.
Nuts.
I was worried it was another backflippin' FMX video. [laugh]
that was so freaking awesome. You can see how much of an adrenaline rush it was when he freaked at out at the end! [clap]
That's nuts.
Spectacular, but nuts.
Only had 200 ft to get up to speed. hit the ramp at 54 mph in 3rd gear. jumped 102 VERTICAL feet. Overshot the sweet spot on the landing ramp by 25 feet. Broke left hand on grip AND gashed it to the bone between the thumb and first finger. Also.... he didn't have any padding in case something went wrong AND he never practiced this jump before he attempted it. You should have seen it live.

[thumbsup] It was awesome. We went downtown alittle later that night and stood around a 10 story Bank bldg. I was looking up at it thinking, Holy Shit.

Yeah... And he said he already has a plan for a stunt that will blow that stunt away! Remember, this dude set a world record last year by jumping a football field.

No, he's been doing it for months now.

And for some reason, I'm not that impressed.
People have been doing stuff like this on natural terrain for years -- just looks cooler in an urban envirornment..

Whatever [roll]
They were talking about this stunt a few months back on "E" channel. I thought they said it was Robbie Keneival who was going to do it. He rides H-D
though.
Either way..completely insane!! [evil]

He may have practiced on that platform... but he NEVER got to practice at the actual jump site.
holy shit!
the way up was impressive but I thought the video length was a bit long for that and then realized oh make the beast with two backs he's going back down!?!?
damn.
This should go up in general moto content.

Robbie Knievel doesn't ride HD's...unless they make dirtbikes now. Evel rode HD's though.
Robbie jumped the Mirage volcano the same night in Vegas. He has also jumped the fountains at Caesar's Palace in Vegas. It would be an impressive jump if he did it on the same bike as his dad...i.e., crappy ass suspension...but it's not that special on a dirtbike.
Apparently he's gonna jump an HD this Spring.

I stand corrected. I thought he rode HD like his dad. That must have been the jump I heard about then..the volcano.
[puke] Ok, feel better now.
is he affiliated with red bull?
damn. he's got balls the size of grapefruits!
