Are you serious!!! That has to be one of the coolest and funest looking things I have ever seen. I wish I had the balls to try something like that.

If you're going to have a superpower, flying squirrel looks like a pretty fun one.

Me too! This is seriously cool stuff though. [thumbsup]
I think the 'wing suits' would be amazing fun, but the whole 'get as close to the wall as possible' thing is a recipe for disaster... :-\ [popcorn]
Amazing. I want to leave Florida. :(
Been there, done that 8) ... well, not the done part ;)

want..want..want..
but..... bock! bock! bock! (where's the chicken hearted smiley??)
I was watching a video awhile ago. It was of the guy who was doing the wing suit stunt with the guy who crashed into the bridge. He was to go over and his friend was to go under. The friend of course died instantly. It was an interview with the survivor. He said he hasn't been the same since. He said that he knew about 2 dozen other wing suit folks, and six of them had died already in crashes. He said he was thinking of just hanging it up entirely. They are working on figuring out a way to land without a parachute. It would involve finding the right terrain and some suit modification. They don't have any volunteer testers, though. :o
next thing you know, they'll mandate gear requirements. then, due to the high costs of medical for the victims, they'll want to ban it. ;D
you must have to be in some kind of great shape for that id imagine or are your arms held out by something im curious would love to try it though [beer] to the guys that to

They are held out by a 100+mph Relative wind.
It would almost be worth learning to sew just to have one of those suits [roll]
Who has the money to just up and go to Norway to play with a wingsuit?
