That bike certainly sounds good.

I may start wanting a Monster again if I could get one exactly like the one they tested.

I like it and can't wait to see some on the road here.  In OK, I don't see too many around as it is now, so I won't hold my breath to spot one anytime soon.

what a hooligan!  he's riding on the wrong side of the road, causing all other traffic to swerve to the other side to miss him!   ;D  crazy brits...

Those are the slip-ons, ducati is actually making a system with all new plumbing for the 1100.  Now i'm really having a hard time deciding if my next bike is going to be the 1100/s or the streetfighter. :-\

Love the bike.  It's a beautiful bike, but it ain't cheap.   MSRP of $13,995 + exhaust = about $17,000.  Part #96454009B is the full exhaust kit $2700 and a couple hours install and tuning time for about $3,000.

That price makes the fully kitted S4RS that I bought new for $17,000 look like a pretty good deal.  I'm glad I got it when I did.

I'd love to get a weekend's ride on the 1100s though.

review is kind of a generous term. 'summarizes' is more like it.
