My next-door neighbor still has their xmas lights up.
And on.
24-7.
and they blink.
I understand not having the time to take them down....but cant you at least unplug the dang things?!?
anybody else wanna fess up to still having theirs on?
There's still a place on the bus route I've been driving. It gets old.
JM
It's not over! I can't hear you... LALALALALALALALALALA
I still have my tree up in the house. I thought I'd leave it up until Easter or something. I'm impressed the needles haven't started dropping off.
But it's going down on Sunday. We have a local "treecycle" where the city/related parties pick up christmas trees and turn them into mulch for public use in the Spring. [thumbsup]
Christmas Lights? Christmas?
I celebrate Christmas the way Jesus & the Apostles did.
They didn't.
No worries
No hassles
No last minute shopping.
It's bliss.....
Idaho ..... need I say more?
I warned you [laugh]

My wife wears this shirt regularly.

Maybe hes Russian...
I am in north idaho and I have two neighbors with their lights still up and on. Now that
all the snow melted yesterday and today, replaced by floods, it looks kinda strange.
There is a house near where I grew up that keeps its lights up all year, the big colored glass lights. The house is white and with the colored lights we called it the candyland house.
sneak over and pop a few of them. ;D
All the Christmas/holiday bullshit comes up too early and hangs around too long >:(
Especially in stores, those make the beast with two backss.
guilty.
I have crap weather and a new baby as an excuse for not taking them down yet.
mitt
Don't you have a pellet gun?
Makes for great practice I imagine. [evil]
Mitt, you've got perfectly good reasons.
Mitt's off the hook...still up I understand.
Still ON makes you the crazy christmas light guy
And for those of you that have wisely suggested just popping the little buggers....the neighbor once gave me a good bottle of booze for checking thier mail while on vacation....and I want to keep that avenue open in the future.
Why don't you wear your sunglasses at night? ;D
*Perhaps* they've got a good reason for not turning them off... have you seen your neighbor(s) up and around?

and if you haven't then maybe it's a good time to go check on them. if you "accidentally" cut the wire or break a few bulbs then it will be overshadowed by your good will from checking in on them.
look at you being such a good, albeit clumsy, neighbor. [thumbsup]
They are just early for this year.

Wait Wait Wait.... Any chance this is a "mobile" home(aka single or double wide)? If so... I think there is a statute somewhere stating that those lights MUST stay up until April. At least, that's how it is in my neck of the woods.
