Possibly one more law restricting riders.

I wonder how this will effect Bike Week?  I can see it now...............Bike Week 2010 at Sanford, Maine  (<---- Sanford was just a quick pick, you can replace it with any other town in Maine.)

New Hampshire isn't even a real state though.  Its an itty bitty state.
On a more serious note, 95 db?  I think thats louder than stock for most bikes anyway.  The tachometer thing is bs.  I don't think it will get passed but what do I know. [roll]

NH is the greatest State in the Union.  No income tax, no sales tax, one of the only States (only?) that does not require public education, and their State politicians don't earn an income from their position.  Beautiful, uncrowded, top 10% in per capita income, lowest teen births in the nation.

Ummmm, not requiring an education be offered to its youth is a good thing?

No taxes sounds good, but you have to live through snow.  Who in their right mind lives where it snows?  That's what ski lodges are for!

It is if you don't like the idea of government also being primary educator.  It doesn't not require education, it just doesn't require that the State be the administer of it.

As for snow, I like seasons, but that's just me.

Education is compulsory for all children 6-16...

That said NH sucks...

it's cold...

and it snows...a lot...and it's cold...staying warm is an occupation.

No person in their right mind would live there.

The compulsory thing is recent (last 5 years or so?), and isn't the State dragging its feet on it?

Also, isn't the southern part of the State no colder than say, Boston?  I've only been there in the summer and fall, but I found it to be a very pretty State.

EPA legal pipes are 80 db max, and, yeah, 95 db way louder than stock.

You should tell them about the man eating moose in these parts.  We also have black bears with opposing thumbs that like to steal cars.  The cops can't do a thing about them until hunting season.

I know you've touched on the weather, we just got another six feet of snow last night and the state stopped issuing snow shovel sale permits.  My shovel and back broke last night.  Snow blowers have just broke the $100K mark.

Bad state, bad, bad state, don't even drive through it.  The state troopers have been authorized to shoot anyone driving more than 1 mph over the speed limit.

;D

Was it this:

http://freestateproject.org/ (http://freestateproject.org/)

They want 20,000 libertarians to move to NH and turn it into a libertarian State (kind of already is).  I don't see anything about secession, though.

Um, I don't know of any state that requires "public education"  it just requires education... thats how private schools exist... and public schools are there for kids that can't afford them.

I think that something about your statements was confusing.

My concern is the number of riders we have in our state and bike week.  Bikes are a real economic boost to our state.  I don't remember whens the last time I saw a bike that would pass the requirements (except for my multi, I'm trying to keep it stock.)  I would have to say 95% of the bikes that visit bike week would have to be ticketed.  This would make for a lot of unhappy riders.
