The new look, is growing on me, but then had to leave because of how much I hate the mirrors on it. It's like someone sneezed with a crayola in their hand and it went into production. They put them on the street fighter as well. Easy to change with many options that thank goodness. I'm installing Helibars when it comes back from the shop to see if that improves the ride at all. If not, I'll consider selling it. I went by Munroe. Then I sat on the M1100 and it's just too uncomfortable. It's possible the seat is better when you're actually riding it. The seat wedges you against the tank, much like the 696. But the DP seat is a little less angled, and seemed to be more comfortable when I sat on it. In addition it added some height(it felt too low for me). The seat's a big improvement.
