Title: More travel help: San Juan Puerto Rico
Post by: the_Journeyman on January 11, 2009, 02:23:37 PM
Ok, folks, give me what you know about San Juan, PR.  We're cruising out of there, but staying 2 nights when the boat returns.

We need advice on a good, but not spendy hotel.  Budget is $100-$130 a night.  Should be in the Tourist area I'm thinking.  We want to see Cristobal fort and the Bacardi Distillary.

Thanks for all the great advice!

San Cristobal fort is walking distance from the port.  Bacardi distillery is a couple of miles away, but you have to either take a ferry to Catano and then taxi, or take a taxi from the port itself.  I don't live there anymore unfortunately.  Born and raised in SJ, PR.  Hotels there are expensive.  Do you want near the beach or ??  PM me if you need more info
