Title: Feedback: Racing Series FAQ
Post by: Spidey on January 11, 2009, 08:53:53 PM
Cuz it was already mostly written up in a post I did earlier today, I did a quick FAQ on the different racing series--MotoGP, WSBK and AMA.  It's not *supposed* to be comprehensive cuz it's just for basic info.  But since you're all such picky, fookin' know-it-alls, I thought it'd be a good idea to have you tell me all the stuff I got wrong and/or left out.  <middle finger>   ;D

Anything that really needs to be added or removed or changed?  Thanks, gang.   [drink]

Isn't http://www.worldsbk.com/pubb_EN/ the URL for WSBK ?

there was only 1 or 2 years where the 500s were on track with the 990s.  i think it was 1.

you'll want to amend this when the privateer gp kawi's get announced.  it'll happen.

the phrasing in the ama section makes it sound like mladin also just went to wsbk.

there IS a single tire supplier in ama as of 2009: dunlop.

speed will also carry the ama races.  they have a new contract.

the ama classes are also actually set; it's not that up in the air.  ;)

might want to include a note re this year's daytona 200, the ama season kick-off event: it's going to be under the lights this year.  motogp's first event of the year, Qatar, is also going to be a night event.  2nd year for that.

Thanks, G.  I'll update the AMA section.  What are the AMA classes for '09?  I stopped following a coupla months ago out of frustration.

How's the larva doing?

She's pooin' right now.  And I mean *right* now.  It's the same face I make when I'm workin' on a real good one.   ;D

Thanks for the write-up Spidey.   [thumbsup]

I read it earlier today.

May want to add, Bridgestone is the sole tire supplies for MotoGP in 2009.
