Title: Anyone good with a dremel and drill? Post by: sea bass on January 12, 2009, 08:08:47 AM think you can get the cat out of my exhaust? something like this: http://www.ducatispot.com/forums/showpost.php?p=83433&postcount=27
If you can do that, name your price and I'll consider. I want to leave the baffles in, just take the cats out. Title: Re: Anyone good with a dremel and drill? Post by: Drunken Monkey on January 12, 2009, 08:45:36 PM Linky no work ???

Where are you located? You might as well bypass a chamber in the exhaust also. Title: Re: Anyone good with a dremel and drill? Post by: Desmostro on January 19, 2009, 09:48:26 AM I recognize those! 848 or 1098?
I just got Termis and.... no more ass-fry. Ahhhh. Ya seems simple enough. Where are you? I'm in SF. with all the tools one would need and I'd consider giving you a hand. PM me your info. Title: Re: Anyone good with a dremel and drill? Post by: sea bass on January 21, 2009, 07:22:00 AM it's an 848. I live in downtown SF and will pay maybe ~100/hr or a flat payment. I'm not good at taking things apart in a way that they'll reassemble, so I might be of little help
I'd get termi's but they almost sound too clean for me. Maybe after I sort out my taxes :-X Title: Re: Anyone good with a dremel and drill? Post by: Desmostro on January 21, 2009, 06:41:58 PM I just "Private Messaged" you my phone number etc. Let me know when you want to do it. Title: Re: Anyone good with a dremel and drill? Post by: Desmostro on January 22, 2009, 01:43:34 PM How does it turn out ? , sound good and loud now love to check it out.., let set riding time [moto] Absolutely It sounds like a Ducati now. It was driving me nuts before. i didn't realize how much I rely on the sound as feedback for riding. This may sound really stupid, but I feel more in touch with what the bike is doing, more confident. Love it. Plus as stated, without the cat. converter under my seat getting red hot, no more ass-fry. It was pretty easy to do as well. I did it myself. (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=16718.msg293225#msg293225) Can't wait for a track day.
