Post by: Raux on January 12, 2009, 08:23:38 AM
Sorry we don't have a 'other vehicle' section...

does anyone know a good Mustang forum for a friend? He just purchased an '09 Mustang GT Convertible in Black with Black leather and manual tranny. Bast*rd. no really he's not... he's a chaplain for christ's sake. oh shouldn't have said that either...

Have him try stangnet or mustanglife.  Both are pretty good, but stangnet is my favorite.

I've been on mustangforums.com from time to time. Seems like an OK bunch.

'96 GT here. I'd love to do a 4-valve engine swap but haven't dug into how 'interesting' it might be electrically.

I had an account on mustangforums.com for a while, when I first got my Mustang, and it was helpful.  Apparently if you go too long without logging in they cancel your account or something.  It was good for asking Mustang questions, when I had them, but I had no interest in the regular discussions there.  I also attended a local Mustang club once, but decided it just wasn't for me.  Motorcycles are my passion, not Mustangs.

My daughter drives the older one:

I've been a member of the Mustang community for a long time. I like www.corral.net the best. Its a huge community. You always get responses and good advise.

+1!  STANGNET!!  I am in the 5.0 section (I have a 1988 LX 5.0 with 19K original miles...it was the first new car I bought) and there are A LOT of people who live and breathe Mustangs and cut to the chase for problem resolution and performance theory.  Good stuff!
