Yoyodyne is out of stock, and Desmotimes has a $30 minimum order.
All i need is one foot.
Suggestions?
home depot/ plumping supply has clear hoses as well as black ones. Most plumping stores wont carry metric though, and its sometimes hard to find at home depot. im not sure if there is a SAE equivalent though. If they do, you can always buy it a tad smaller, soak the tube in hot water, or silicone oil to get it to expand then wrap a towel around it to suck up the silicone oil.
Not sure what your using it for, but dont do the later if its for your brakes/clutch.
edit : 1/4 inch is slightly larger, but not by much, i think you can get away with it if you throw a clamp on it as well, but it wont look pretty.

Tygon 2075
Yeah, I'm swimming in Tygon at work, just not 2075.
edit: Ok, I ordered some from usplastic.com. They have lots of cool stuff, including spiral wrap (http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog_name=USPlastic&category_name=80&product_id=12508)
Indysuperbikes carries 6 inch sections of the same hose Yoyodyne has.

It doesn't sweat brake fluid?
Dave make sure you get the correct spec . hose because i've seen bikes with the wrong spec. hose sweating on the outer wall. [thumbsup]

I've already ordered the Tygon. When it arrives, I'll cut a section, fill it with brake fluid and report back. [coffee]
Now where is my lab notebook...?

Hmmm...I searched "hose," "tubing" and "reservoir," and came up empty. Where is it listed?

Youll have to call. I work there so thats how I know ;) I think we sell those for $6 or $8 or something. If you prefer we can probably put one in an envelope to save on shipping if you want. If you call, ask for Will.
