Title: Digging my new clip-ons Post by: topangster on January 12, 2009, 07:00:40 PM Installed a set of Tomaselli adjustable clip-ons recently and man, what a difference in handling. Took a couple of weeks to get them adjusted properly, but now that we've found the right height and angle (thanks Speeddog!), I couldn't imagine going back. It takes far less effort to achieve proper body position, the bike just falls into the corners now and generally feels much more planted. Big improvement.
Yes, there's some sacrifice in terms of ride comfort, but not that much (at least with the Tomasellis, IMO), so if you're considering this mod for performance reasons, I say go for it. I don't commute, however, might change my view if I had to do many miles a day in a straight line...but probably not!
