Title: Size Check: S2R 800 Rearset "Special Bolt"
Post by: corey on January 12, 2009, 07:05:59 PM
"Special Bolt" As referred to in the shop manual (that's make the beast with two backsing useful, right?)... it's the big bolt that holds the Rearsets on. There is one on each side, they thread into the rod that the swingarm pivots on. They are gigantic, and i know i don't have a socket big enough.
I'll be installing Rizomas soon, and need to know the size.
Anybody know the exact?

I know someone has used a 15/16'' socket, but it has to be metric... right?

Since it's exposed, can't you just measure it?  If you're away from your bike and you wanna know, I could go check...

...it's 24mm
