Well, some of you may recall that I low sided my new 696.  [roll]  Given the holidays and the ITALIANS  [bang] parts were delayed, etc., and I still don't have a rear turn signal BUT I HAVE MY BIKE BACK!!!   ;D
Planning a very low key mellow ride tomorrow.  DH rode it back tonight as I was wiped out from a cycling class and couldn't imagine putting on leathers.   [roll]  Plus I didn't want to get reacquainted with riding the bike at night.
It's got new termis (yay), and I think I will probably put the baffles back in them.  Yes, I am a girl.  I want it a little quieter.  Sorry.  My Eddy Merckx is completely quiet (except for my wheezing)  :P  and I just am a little noise sensitive.
So yay - I actually feel like I have something to contribute now.  and we are having this crazy warm weather - so it is all good.

				Nice!!!
Be safe and have fun!

Have fun, enjoy the nice weather!   :)

Glad to hear another 696 owner got her bike back!  [thumbsup] I long to some get some termi's on mine and am saving my pennies. I bet they're really loud with the baffles out... I may do the same thing if they're too throaty.

So I had a nice, slow ride today - just trying to get the feel of it again and not crash.   [roll]  I felt like a complete sissy - I go so much faster on my bicycle on some of those corners than I did on the motorcycle today.  Oh well.  I figure speed will come.  Right now I just have to get the feel of it and work on form.
The termis are WAY too loud for me.  I felt like I have flames coming out of my butt.  We're going to put the baffles in and see how it is.

Keep it up!  [thumbsup] The more you do it the more comfortable you'll get and everyhting will fall into place. When you're ready it sounds like you're a weekday rider like i am, so perhaps you could come out for a ride. In time. When you're ready  ;)
I'm a student and go to class a few nights and then work a few nights so when you're up for a ride lemme know  ;D

Thanks ducnypmh - maybe at some point a ride would be good.  I do work during the week, but have random time here and there when I can ride.
And, because these threads are never any good without pictures, here's the new bike back at home:
