Welcome to the forum. Never seen one of those before in a 600 but I live a sheltered life.

looks like a custom job to me.. the green is a bit different than the newer tricolore green, and the frame isn't gold...
nice job though, looks like quality work.
chop the tail.
what does the small decal say on the tail?
"He robbed the bank and rode off on a red Ducati!"
"Are you blind? It was a green Ducati!"
;D
Is it just me or do the left side cases, belt covers and front brake caliber carriers look right for a '98 600?
well afaik, 600 came with a single disc front brake, this has a dual setup, which obviously could've been upgraded by the owner. Plausible, since he's obviously put a lot of other work into the bike.
Custom painted carbed 90`s Monster.
Not a factory model.
Looks like a Dark from the color of the side cases, black frame, and matte black side covers. And those are newer adj. forks from the caliper bolt spacing.
It's a custom. Don't forget the SBK front fender....
It's a great looking one-off, that's for sure.
That's almost exactly the paint job I've had in mind if I ever get another Monster. But I would stick with the stock Monster front fender that doesn't look so big and out of place as the one on that bike. And the white stripe would be just a little bit narrower and the same width everywhere. I like the gold pinstripes between the colors. I would probably go with a gold frame and wheels. I would also make sure everywhere that says "Ducati" is the Cagiva font like on the tail and not the newer front like they have on the tank.
And it would have to have one of those 100 hp 966 engines that Chris Kelley is advertising. At least I like the pipes on it and would want something similar.
The forks and brakes are not original, 65 mm caliper spacing and hollow axle.
+1 On the one off custom special [thumbsup]

not just you...I thought a 98 600 would have the Cagiva teardrop shaped clutch side casing...
