There's nothing wrong with the ZG screen, except that it was (IIRC) $80 shipped. One can of Krylon is $4.99 and can be used for a lot of stuff. Finally, I've painted the inside of the windscreen on my Bandit, and I've seen painted windscreens on other monsters, and I like the opaque look better than the smoked, translucent look of the ZG. They don't have a picture on their website but I sure they will have made a screen for the 696 by now.

But we cannot make one until we get hold of an original screen with which to make a new mould. I took a few photos of that model when I first saw it at Bike Asia 2008 and have been waiting for someone to seek one from us. Regards EAGLE SCREENS AUSTRALIA I guess they're waiting for someone to turn up on their doorstep with a 696 and say "make me something to fit this". |
