I can view it fine on the camera, but when I try to save it to the pc it won't play.
Any ideas?

It's actually of a clinet working and I need to burn it to a disc. :P
Does it come across as an .avi file or some other format?
Need more information. I own 2 powershots, and have never had this problem.
Are you using PC or mac, how are you downloading them, what media player are you trying, etc.

yup, it's an avi file.
I've never had an issue pulling a file before, it's about 800mb, could that be an issue?
