Oh, rub it in...not only do you have DNA headquarters, are getting a visit from Nicky, BUT you can still ride and not look like the Abominable Snowman [bang]

I'll be riding out there with a friend. Anyone else on this board going? [moto]
DNA is slowly realizing that there's more than Cali, but I heard that about 50% of their sales are over there. They sure know where their money is. Hopefully with Indy MotoGP those sales figures will slowly even out. Have fun!
Dear DNA and Nicky Hayden,
Yeah, I'm gonna need for the date of this event to be changed.
My work schedule will not allow me to attend.
I think that Feb 6th would work better for me.
Thanks guys,
Carlos
Anyone riding up from San Diego?
Pictures (http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e70/erkishhorde/Nicky%20Hayden%20Party/) I took. Sorry for the IZ_ ones. They're also kinda scattered in order. I pretty much only went to see if they might have a streetfighter and for the fashion show. I was disappointed on both accounts. There was no streetfighter but I saw some interesting bags on a Hyper. The fashion show was OK but it was kinda dark so I had to use flash and the flash recharge slowed down my shot speed so I missed a lotta shots. I wanted to try and get one of each person as they were walking down the walkway and then one at the end but it didn't work out so well due to flash recharge. :-\ Ducati Hotties were very nice as always. ;)
I didn't get many pics of Hayden since he was usually surrounded by people and during the interview I was at a bad angle and the guy from DNA kept blocking him. [roll] I think I got a pic of Eric Bostrom (sp) though. Honestly I don't know who the guy is and didn't think much of him until some people started asking him for autographs. :P
If you want the originals of any pics PM me.

both ben and eric have ridden for ducati.
ben won the ama superbike championship for honda in 1998 and then ran his #1 plate on the vance & hines ducati factory team the next year. ben then went to the ducati factory team in world superbike.
eric ride for the ducati austin-run ducati factory team in '04 and '05.
Looks like you enjoyed yourself. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I bid 10 cents
Actually, I got kinda bored. :P I showed up at about 7:00 and doors didn't open until 7:30. Then everyone was just kinda crowding into the dealership to look at nothing. [roll] A bunch of people just went straight the "stage" and stood around for an hour until Nicky Hayden came out. They didn't talk about anything meaningful though. Hayden's general answer to anything about racing was "the Ducati is a really fast bike and goes really fast in a straight line." [roll]
The silent auction didn't go super well. I think the helmets got the most bids (about 6 each). Everything else only got 1 or 2 bids. [roll] A couple items from the Bozstrom (sp?) brothers didn't even get bids. I think they were signed polo shirts. [roll]
The fashion show was kinda dead too. It was at the very end and a lotta people left after Nicky was done doing signatures. There was no applause for any of the models but they looked great. :-\
Thanks for sharing the photos, that is cool!
I though E-Boz was in Brazil becoming a farmer? [laugh]
Do Luca and nicky share any family?
