That wasn't so bad. You should hear what one person I know carries on about when the old testament animal sacrifices get brought up.
Upon completion of the latest project, anemic high fives were handed out like free falafel among the PETA staff, their gaunt faces stretched unnaturally with self-righteous joy, beards encrusted with celebratory gluten-free cake. Another genus and species of kitten had surely been saved. It was a job well done.

While I cannot say that I have ever seen videos of someone skinning a fur-bearer alive (nor do I want to), I can say that trying to skin anything, while it is alive, would be a major pain in the ass. Better to whack it on the head with a 26-oz framing hammer first...from a production standpoint, anyway.

I showed the first chapter of it to everyone I work with....being as we work at a fish hatchery, that belongs to a government agency that is dedicated to the conservation of habitat and wildlife (including the "sea kittens"). I sure hope PETA never comes out here for a tour or anything, now [evil]
