Title: I'll never be warm again wing night Post by: Popeye the Sailor on January 16, 2009, 09:49:50 AM I'm in Ottawa for work, for roughly three weeks it's looking like.
It is -35 degrees right now. The only thing keeping me going is the thought of the wings down at smoke eaters (formerly Cluck U). I'm fairly sure the sauce on their hottest wings can etch cement. I want some. I NEED some. Anyone care to join? I was thinking the 25th or so. I was in Bath right by the Iron Works. I did a weekend camping trip where it got to -60 with the wind chill. This was in 93-94... Most of my toes and fingers aren't frozen anymore. Atomic tastes like sweet and sour sauce. We asked for Some nuclear on the side and it was more like a traditional Hotwing sauce but it still was not hot :( What do you normally order ? Dan and Scott tried the atomic and also thought it was a bit sweet, maybe the "Traditional Death" next time? I just had chips and salsa myself.... That was my first time there and I went for something in the middle to gauge what they consider hot. Atomic was really too sweet. Maybe I'll order some wings this weekend.
