Title: Smart way to carry a ladder on a scooter? Picture says no.

Norway, city of Bergen, today, scooter, male 48yo. Pulled over while lane splitting.

His safety issue argument was that it was tied down at the back and secured up front by putting the helmet on. After all, it is a full face helmet.

I didn't see it in person, but the newspaper which printed it had the story confirmed by the police. If it belongs in a real world is another story.

That's crazy.  I need to dig up a picture that I took in Uganda with a guy carrying the rear passenger door of a car while riding a scooter.  Not sure if I can find it until I get back from Afghanistan, but will post it up when I can.
