Going to see it at the Alamo Theatre this week.  I haven't been there yet but they serve dinner & drinks during the movie.   [thumbsup]  Can't wait to see it though!

I liked it too.  Classic Eastwood, which means a good film from several perspectives.

As a kid I sorta made fun of the first spaghetti westerns then they came out, but I just saw "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" again today on TV - it's aged well.  Eastwood's acting and film making skills have been vindicated over time - he's top notch in my book. [thumbsup]

His enduring roll as an icon of masculinity is well preserved in Grand Torino and in a good way and with a little softer edge - definitely worth the effort.

Decent movie, its done a little differently then what we're used to seeing. Clint Eastwood carries the film on his own.

My thoughts exactly.  Despite being the star, he was by and large the only decent actor in the film.  The casting supervisor probably should look for new work.  I couldn't get enough of his old man "I don't give a shit" grumble though.

I thought it was a very good movie, though Clint was the only good actor.  I did like the old lady.

+1 Eastwood good, support cast crap.
Contained more cliches than... well...Something that has a lot of cliches
Could see that ending coming a mile away.
