Title: placement for neodymium magnets on filter

so i went out and got a few watch battery sized magnets for the filter but was curious where exactly i'm supposed to place it on the filter??  ???

GeorgeCLS recommended placing them opposite each other on the sides of the filter casing, back on TOB.

Not grasping the concept of moderation I put a ring of them around the filter housing where it sticks out of the bottom of the motor.   They look vulnerable but so far have stayed in place.  Haven't as yet opened up an old filter to see what they are collecting inside.  I wonder if all those magnets under the ike help to trigger street lights?  Haven't really noticed.  Do have to really gas it to get over RR tracks though.
