How can you title a thread "Super Bowl Predictions" and not allow scores or winning team choices?  :-\

Because it has gotten so big that it's kinda taken on a circus atmosphere.
Apple intro-ed the mac PC with a super bowl ad that aired one time.
Companies spend ungodly amounts for one 30 second spot.

all i know is that the steelers better win. if the cardinals win, my entire concept of reality will be turned upside-down.

You bring up a great point about the ads. In years past they were actually something to look forward to. Seems that nowadays commercials have gotten funnier in general,leaving little room for improvement to a "Super Bowl quality" ad.

I vote beer commercials.  In times past, I would vote for computer commercials, but I think tech companies have been hit harder than beer companies.  Times get hard, people still drink beer.

I predict I'm going to consume a lot of rum and/or beer.
As for the game, within a week I won't remember the score. Within a month I'll remember no exciting plays. Within 6 months I won't remember who even played.

Vote for Boobies (aka scantily clad supermodels which we all know really refers to the regular models who are in the light beer commercials)

Must be a lotta sad Cali guys here who are cryin' in their beer 'cause the Steelers knocked their Chargers out of the show early!

If it is anything like many Steelers games this year...it will come down to the last few minutes with, hopefully, Big Ben or Troy pulling out a win for Da Burgh! First to 4 ...First to 6? I hope so!

BTW, if you can't read between the lines...I voted for "last minutes of 4th quarter."

I'm hoping for a tight hard hitting game that has, at least one behind the back one handed "howhedodat" catch, one commercial that all of us ROFLOAO, 3 or 4 lead changes, refs that aren't blind and let em play, and I know this is a lot to ask for but how bout a 90yard come from behind drive in the last 2 minutes to win the game.

with any luck the cardinals will put this away in teh first half by scoring huge points.  honestly steeler games are boring.  out of the two games a week ago, the ravens/steeler game was long and boring.  it was almost as bad as a giants vs jets game, talk about painfully slow moving games.

So pretty much the Eagles/Cards game but with a good commercial?

 [roll] saddly oft times the NFC championship / AFC championship games are the best pro football you see all year. I've suffered thru more than one super blowout  [bang]

I wonder if the " Boss " has seen our little poll, isn't he the half time act this year ??
