Most of the rides you see here are fine for newbies. I think that as a group we generally stick to a golden rule: Ride at a pace that is comfortable and safe for you. If there are faster folks, they'll wait up at turnoffs. No big deal. And there are plenty of relatively new riders in the MOB. If you see a ride posted, go along! Or you might try posting up for your rides. It's all good. Oh, and try to make it up to Zeitgeist night, usually the last Thursday of the month. (Just post up when you wanna ride...believe it or not, the mellow rides attract waaaaaaay more riders, experienced or not, than fast rides.)
