Time once again for the monthly Zeitgeist beer social. Most of you know the drill: tamales, beer, porta-potties worthy of Slumdog Millionaire, etc.

It doesn't matter if you post here, own a Ducati, or even a bike - all are welcome.

Sadly I won't be making this one - gonna be in Carmel celebrating an anniversary with my sweetie.

EDIT: OK, I'm an idiot and put down Friday's date. It is Thursday the 29th.  Who knows, maybe this will improve attendance.   :)

Will most likely go, but late as usual. So far, maybe the only rain free day of the week. No worries about soaked underwear...at least from the bench.

 Now that I FINALLY got my bike back from the shop...  I'll be there.[drink]  AND Ive got heated grips!

I'm going to try...  I can't promise anything yet.

I'll be there anyway, after my aikido class, prob. 'bout 7:30, 'cause after getting my butt kicked for an hour I neeeeeed a  [drink].

I know this will make me sound like a Wuss but I'm going to give this month's Z a pass and avoid sitting in the cold.  I just got over a 4 week cold/flu dealio that went though about 8 different renditions with different symptoms each time.  I am SO SICK of being sick... have fun y'all! 

I'm glad you put a capital W for wuss.  ;) Enjoy the warmth! I think my snot will add some flavoring to the burger.

My first "outing" after my lil guy was born was at just about 4 weeks, and I took him with me, in his car seat, to the movies. I figured, if he made even a peep it'd be easy enough to just slip out. He was a champ, tho, slept through the entire thing. And the movie?

For what it's worth, when I got there the tamale lady already left.  :'(

She hit my car once.  (no, really...)  But her tamales are pretty good if you slather them in that hot sauce she carts around.  I feel for your loss, man.  Spicy tamales and a cold beer--that's good stuff right there.

good seeing/meeting all who attended ... is nice to be able to put a face to a screen name.

and a word of advice to anyone contemplating doing a road trip with dtm ... cheese and rice can that boy throw down atomic farts.  the entire drive down from the city to san jose, my eyes were burning, and i am pretty certain there is no hair left in my nostrils (which i believe you are supposed to have, right?).  this, even with the windows wide open on the freeway.  :o

For what it's worth, she came back shortly after you left (really). I thought that was amusing as hell.

I told him the only reason I left was because I had to pee and there was No. Way. I was goin' in one of those porta potties....

Good to see y'all.  I wish I coulda stayed longer, but I was there long enough to enjoy a PBR, a shot (thanks, Vin), a Zeit burger, the odor of the porta-potties, that animal living on Vin's neck, stories about how to kick a coyote-f*ck outta bed in the middle of the night, Dan's invitation "to go dirtbiking" (i.e. visit the ER), some ribbing about my relationship with the Blonde's breast pump, and sporadic discussions about motorcycles.

For all that chatter about how no one was gonna show up, we had somegirl, Mr. Incredible, sfarchie, mattv, petemg, ducati tim, duquette, spidey, johnc, dantheman, charliesangel (and a groupie), desmostro, vindingo and I'm sure a coupla others I missed or forgot about (sorry).

I dig winter 'geist.   [thumbsup]
