It wasnt for me!
great fun unless the bad guys are shooting one back at ya.
that would obliterate anything!
I'll wait for one to show up at the local pawn shop before I buy it [evil]
i dont know why youd throw that ontop of a denali/yukon whatever it is. Its not purpose built at all. Humvee is much better suited.

Up armored Suburbans are used for PSD work.
We do have them on some of our HMMWV's on the SOF side of the house.

Im sure its purpose built for motorcades and parades. Gives the people a sense of normalcy.

tahts ones of the only reasons i can think of. Also, in a convoy of cars, it wouldnt stick out like a sore thumb. Plus it would be easier for private security guys to buy one and its the biggest car next to a truck on the market.
FYI:
Secret Service doesn't own any of these
Picture a line of people crossing a busy city street, 3/4 of a mile away as the wall of lead gets to them........Oops!

Yea. If the president gets in a situation that requires on of those, then the shit has really hit the fan. Not to mention the SS and FBI would have failed to do their job.
Hey you said President!! Isnt that political??

Yeah, they did a bang -up job keeping the reporter from throwing not one but two shoes at The Commander and Chief. They are a bunch of tools.

Well, it didn't exactly require a mini-gun. Just some tackling. I'm saying any thing complex that would require that kind of fire power would be snuffed out before it happened. At least under Bush.

There's enough firepower in those suburbans that follow the president's motorcade to take down a small city.
One of my good friends is one of said individuals.
