*Sigh* A bunch of worthless trash boxes from work that have yet to make it to the dumpster are hoarding the garage so I woke up this morning to discover this grizzly sight.

She's been through worse rain/inclement weather, but I think she's still upset about the whole snow thing. To make matters worse, it was like 65 degrees here last Thursday which plummeted down to today's 15. It's almost like mother nature is just toying with me. Hot, cold, hot cold. It's not weather, it's malaria.
I just hope everyone elses ride is faring better than mine. I just keep telling myself that spring is only a few weeks away. New rubbers, new cockpit, new gear, and a whole new year. I'm pumped.
P.S. - no tailchop comments. It's a work in progress ;D
Can I make a mirror comment instead!? :D
I was gonna offer up some honeymustard sauce
:D
At least there are no yellow snow ;D

the question you really need to ask yourself is "will it start?" i knew my battery was getting weak but it started every time and never let me down until the temp dropped roughly 30* overnight down to about 45 and i needed to ride to work.

why would you do such a thing? some of us people like looking at that neat little black area on the elbows of our jackets when we ride.

Like I said fellas, work in progress :) I guess there really isn't an excuse for the stickers though.
I moved a bunch of stuff that morning and squeezed her in so all is right with the world again. I've not had a problem starting it in 15degree weather, this time was no exception. Regular riding combined with a tender apparently work wonders. Plus it sat outside (usually covered) for about 5 months until I found this place anyway. Now to get rid of this cold white stuff......
as the cliche' goes, if you don't like the weather in MO, wait five minutes...it'll change
how did you like the snow/sleet yesterday and today? or was it more ice in your area?
I am entombed in about an inch of Ice w, something like 7-8 inches of Snow on top of that. Probably lost 8-12 large Tree limbs due to the Ice and the real bad thing is we had a day late last week that melted most of what snow there was but then it all froze solid over night and that is underneath all the crap we got last night and today.
The high temps aren't due to get above freezing for at least the next 7 days.
Had the Drive plowed yesterday down to the Ice and now the Township Plow has plowed the Drive closed . I hiked out to the mailbox today and even though UPS wasn't working the mail person had been there like the old saying goes .
6 inch Icicles about every inch hang from all the gutters . I hope the gutters don't fall off.
Just adds insult to injury. Dolph :(
Lets go snowboardig.... :)
I actually went out to double check my tire sizes today and found a little "pool" of snow still left on the beer tray. God I can't wait to get rid of that thing.

Not too much ice, but we had quite a bit of freezing rain all day (combined with sleet and snow that is). I drove up to Kirksville for work and had to stop numerous times to de-ice the wipers. Even my antenna was frozen in its normal windblown position :). Just like you said though, it's almost 40 today and the roads are clear. The "bad" weather here was really mellow this year. From what I hear, you guys got destroyed as did most of the southern part of the state.
Sorry to hear about your plight Dolph. My parents have a couple of acres and a drive you could turn into a parking lot, so guess who got to shovel that shit when he was young?? I feel your pain ;D
That's it. I'm gonna go ride out of spite for the weather.
